About AFF

The Americana Folk Festival (AFF) showcases national artists from Americana, folk, bluegrass, jazz, and other acoustic genres, recreating a sense of the back-porch "picking party" amidst thousands of audience members. In addition to three stages of continuous music, AFF features a green village with ethnic and organic food, exclusive microbrews, instrument builders, folk art, outdoor enthusiasts, and other great folks committed to better living and listening. It's sort of like Sundance...except for roots music fans.

We all know that folk music is back in a big, big way. From a broad spectrum of folk-influenced artists like M.Ward and Sufjan Stevens to legends like Levon Helm, great music is still being made, and music lovers like us are still drawn to a tale well told. AFF isn't strictly an Americana or folk music festival: it's a celebration where artists of various genres come together and pay homage to their love for and their own personal influences of roots music.
